Have you ever met someone who said they liked running on a treadmill? Me neither. If by chance you have, they’re either lying or they’re a freak of nature. I would rather run in 100 degree heat than have to run in a stinky gym. Here are three actually fun fitness classes you can take. No fitness machines required.
Pole Dancing
Yes, we’ve all noticed the pole dancing craze lately, and rolled our eyes as we passed Sexy Girls Pole Fitness in the car. It should come as no surprise that pole dancing actually does require a lot of strength, and obviously, cardio. There are things that pole dancing can offer outside of just getting fit: like feeling really, really sexy. “Well…” you might be thinking, “only people who are young and thin can pole dance.” Nope. I personally have seen women of all ages and sizes owning it on the pole.
Trampoline Fitness
This marries the fun of jumping around on a trampoline with cardio and conditioning. Held in what are typically indoor trampoline parks, a fitness instructor will lead you through various jumps and techniques to give you an entire body workout.
Aerial Yoga Classes
Ever watch Cirque Du Soleil and long for a life of circus acrobatics? Well you can live an aerialist’s life for an hour in an aerial yoga class. This entails waist height fabric hammocks and traditional yoga poses. Just dont fall asleep!
Have you tried any of these classes? Tell us about it in the comments!
