Look, I get it, not everyone is equipped to handle the cold weather. But can I just get real with you all for a minute? Growing up I hated when my dad wore socks with sandals and I found it embarrassing when he did it in public. It was like he really wanted to wear sandals but couldn’t justify it since it was cold and even though he had a perfectly good pair of tennis shoes, he was too lazy to lace up those bad boys up so he ended up at the half way mark. Which ended up looking something like this:
Oh so stylin’, right? WRONG!
But now it’s for women who want to wear heels without their feet getting cold. Hmm… let’s think about that for a second. They totally make fashionable boots, right? They also make shoes that cover your toes entirely that also look dressy so why, oh why do we need to make socks and heels a thing?
I don’t think anyone has ever died from having their toes stay cooped up inside shoes for a few weeks longer while we wait for it to warm up. And more importantly, your toes can bare the cool breeze better than you think ladies!
So for the sake of fashion and for the sake of dads embarrassing their little girls everywhere, I beg you, ditch the heels and socks. But if you are really into it, you can check out a few ways on how to pair the look here.
