You have a closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear. This is a problem for lots of women all around the world, but there is a creative solution to it. What solution is that? Accessories. Accessories can change the vibe to any outfit. It can turn a black ensemble into a high fashion runway look or a grungy look. It can make a shift dress bohemian or preppy. My favorite way to accessorize is with jewelry. Jewelry can be as expensive as you want it or as inexpensive as you want it. My personal fave? Inexpensive, of course. So here are my choice of top five jewelry trends that are to die for.
Statement Necklaces
Statement necklaces are my favorite to wear with a collared top. It gives the shirt a chicness that takes it from looking like you’re about to go to a job interview to looking like a true fashionista walking the NYC streets like a runway.
Forever 21 – Rhinestone and Faux Gem Statement Necklace – $14.90
Chokers
I know what you’re thinking. Is this the early 00’s? And no, no. This is a much more modern take on chokers. Granted, those plastic ones are out there, but there are much more stylish chokers now. The best way to wear a choker necklace is with a low-cut shirt. It gives the illusion that the neckline is much higher despite the lack of fabric.
Baublebar – Minimal Metal Choker – $38
Lariat Collar Necklace
If you’re not into the way chokers look by themselves, then a lariat collar necklace would be more up your alley. It takes two popular styles (the lariat necklace and the choker necklace) and makes them into one. Again, I would wear this style necklace with a low-cut shirt, but not too low-cut as the look of the longer layered necklace between your boobage isn’t very classy. You want to make sure the shirt rests right above your bosom and the necklace is long enough to lay over it without falling between your girls.
Forever 21 – Collar Necklace Set – $7.90
Ear Jackets
Necklaces aren’t your thing? I got you. Ear jackets are a subtle way to wear some bling elsewhere. You don’t have to keep in mind what type of neckline you’re wearing with these because they’re going on your ear, but if you want to showcase them, make sure you tuck one side of your hair behind your ear or wear your hair up.
Nordstrom – Crystal Ear Jackets by BP. – $10
Midi Rings
If you want an extra umph in your styling for the day, midi rings are your friend. The trend is ever popular and growing more by the season. Midi rings dress up the part of your body most people tend to forget to accessorize: your fingers. They add a little extra something to your already pulled together look.
GoJane – Stacks on Stacks Ring Set – $17.30
Which of these top five will you be giving a try?

For me personally, there is nothing like a great statement necklace. The lariat collar necklace is something that I haven’t tried yet. Thanks for sharing!

I have always loved the look of chokers because they offer a different design than a typical necklace. They can either be dressed up, or dressed down as well! And I love that there are options, like the choker in the post, that are more classy looking!

Oh, I really like the lariat collar necklace design! I’ve always loved the idea of layering pieces together to make a more cohesive look. And since I am also one of those people who don’t like how chokers look by themselves, I’ll be sure to try this out. Instead of a rose gold piece, however, I think I would probably go with classic silver.

I love the jewelry you guys have shown, they seem very trendy and I look forward to buying a piece for my wife. However I’m sure this jewelry would not compliment other people, you should find the right jewelry that you feel comfortable in.
