Nine times out of ten, the person sitting in my makeup chair will tell me their horror story of how a nail salon butchered their eyebrows at some point in their life. My first piece of advice would be finding the right esthetician for you, someone you can fully trust with your brows. Eyebrows help shape your face and a professional can show you the areas where you need to improve, and help you get the perfect look.

Brow Trends
[offer]
Just like hairstyles, brows go through trends too. Back in the 20s everyone was shaving off their brows and drawing on rounded thin brows. Now the sexiest brow is a full, arched eyebrow. Here is how you can create a full arched brow for your face shape.
The Technique
- Hold a pencil up against the side of your nose – this will show you where you need to start your eyebrow.
- Then, tilt the pencil at an angle so it rests at the outside of the colored part of your eye. That will be the peak of your arch.
- Lastly, hold the pencil to the very edge of your eye. This is where the tail of your brow should be be.
You now have created the structure for the perfect eyebrow for YOUR face shape!

Coloring Your Eyebrows In
My all time favorite makeup company for eyebrows is Anastasia of Beverly Hills. She is the queen of brows and has created products to suit every need.
1. Brow Powder
For those who may already have full brows, but want to create all over color and fullness. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo will give a soft finish to the brow.
2. Brow Pencil
For those who may have some bald spots, or scarring, and would like to create the illusion of non-existent eyebrow hairs. Pencils are also great for shaping. Try using Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil for the best results.
3. Brow Gel
Use Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel if you want to create a more dramatic brow. Using a gel will give you a defined, crisp finish.

My personal favorite combo to use when filling in my brows (as well as my clients’) is to use a brow pencil first to line the bottoms of my brow and create a nice extended tail, then rounding out the top of the arch. I then go in with brow powder and lightly fill in the rest of my brow. This will help create a perfectly shaped brow for an everyday look.
