Loyal #P&PandCHILL -ers know how I feel about Harry Potter. From my Harry Potter and The Cursed Child inspired makeup, to the ever- present boxed set in the background of my videos; it’s safe to sat that I am a die hard Potter fanatic. So when I woke up this morning to the news of, not one, but THREE new Harry Potter books, I about had a blow out sale in my pants! I need a time turner to get me to the release date sooner!
From what I can gather from this article from The Booksellers, the books will be available in early September ( the 8th, specifically) and will retail for under three dollars each. I assume that the books will cover material from JK Rowling’s website Pottermore, which gave detailed back stories into the world of Harry Potter and Hogwarts. It’s unclear whether the books will have exclusive material.
A spokesperson told Booksellers:
“The titles will be available on the Pottermore shop and via leading online retail outlets.”
The Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists title gives “a glimpse into the darker side of the wizarding world”, revealing the truth about Professor Umbridge and how Horace Slughorn met Tom Marvolo Riddle, a.k.a. Voldemort, according to the listing.
Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies, meanwhile, is about courageous characters such as Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin, whilst the Hogwarts title takes the reader behind the scenes of Harry Potter’s famous school.
Hogwarts An Incomplete and Unreliable History takes you on a journey to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You’ll venture into the Hogwarts grounds, become better acquainted with its more permanent residents, learn more about lessons and discover secrets of the castle . . . all at the turn of a page.”
I could just die! These new releases and my The Unofficial Guide To Crafting The World Of Harry Potter Book might just hold me over until Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them premiers this Fall.

All of them., I’m also getting the 3 that are out already. They are quidditch through the ages, tales of beedle the bard, and the hogwarts textbook fantastic beasts and where to find them.. As soon as the weather gets more fall like I’m having a hp marathon and making a pan of hot butterbeer and some popcorn and settling in for 19 hours of fantasy. I just have to get my 5 year old to cooperate because mommy needs this. Ha.
