I am so excited for fall weather that I have already chosen what Halloween Costumes I’ll be doing, what food I’ll be making for Thanksgiving, and which lip colors I plan on wearing all throughout the fall and winter months. I’ve made sure to include a color and texture to suit any style, and these are some of my favorite formulas; so trust me when I say that these are the only lip colors you’ll need this fall.
LANCOME JUICY SHAKER
This gimmicky little cocktail shaker looking product has been my favorite discovery all year (except for benefit’s gimme brow). This just feels so luxurious on my lips, and doesn’t make my lips peel or feel like I have a film over my lips like most glossy products do. I keep this by my bedside table, and if it’s not there it’s in my purse. It’s like having an inhaler- I’m nervous when it’s not nearby. I have the shade ‘Freedom of Peach’ but I’ve been eyeballing all the other shades, too.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY: KIM KW
Dare I say that this has taken up the spot in my purse typically reserved for YSL #10? Because it has (at least temporarily). Where #10 is creamier and a little more slippy, true to the lipsticks’ namesake Kim Kardashian West, the consistency is a little thicker. YSL #10 is my one true love, but this one is the nude I’ve been reaching for lately.
KAT VON D: CATHEDRAL
This is the perfect matte dusty rose with 90’s vibes. It doesn’t go full blown brown though, so you can dress it up a little with some bronze or gold eyes. Plus it smells like vanilla tic-tacs, which is always a plus in my little world.
KYLIE COSMETICS TRUE BROWN
I love this ‘diet goth’ sort of color. I will say that the scent is so sweet that it’s borderline sickening, but the color is so unique and wears so well. I pair this with a pretty dramatic set of lashes on an otherwise bare eye. No muss, no fuss.
NARS CRUELLA
I have literally never seen anyone look bad while wearing this shade of red. I love pairing it with a dark wine colored lipliner like jordana cabernet.
URBAN DECAY OBLIVION
This is one of those purple-y gray’s that make you look dead in the best way possible. Ok, maybe that doesn’t make sense to anyone else but me, but trust me- it’s gorgeous!
