Word is Cotton Balls Are The New Eyelash Extensions

Women everywhere are wanting those longer, thicker, and more bold eyelashes. I totally get it, they look amazing when done right. I actually get eyelash extensions applied every few weeks and I am a bit addicted. However, they aren’t exactly cheap so I get why not all women can get them done. So other than using cheap plastic eyelashes (like the one’s you’d use around Halloween), how can you get the eyelashes of your dreams?

Well, apparently word is that cotton balls are the new eyelash extensions especially if you’re on a budget.

Wait, what? Did I just say cotton balls?

Yes, yes I did.

It goes a little something like this…

You apply your mascara as usual. Then you take a spoolie (the mascara wand) and twist it on the inside of a cotton ball. Then you apply that to your wet eyelashes and it’s supposed to make your eyelashes look longer and fuller. But does it?

I guess it sort of makes them look longer but to be honest it looks pretty clumpy to me. Also, I don’t know about you but I hate having pieces of cotton balls stuck to my nails let alone stuck to my eye. At this point, I think you are just begging to get a piece in your eye.
