I don’t know about you, but the last time I heard of chlorophyll it was in biology class – being described as the component that absorbs light and gives green plants their color (from what I recall hearing in between naps). However, I never heard of Chlorophyll being used as a supplement in water…? Nor would I have ever even considered trying it myself. After looking into it more we found that this is, however, a trend that’s popping up in yoga studios and juice bars all over the country.

What are the benefits?
Well after some research I found Chlorophyll water has quite a lot of benefits:
- Removes heavy metals from your body
- Neutralizes toxins
- Rebalances your body’s pH levels
- Gives you energy
Among many other others!

You can drink this many different ways but the most popular ways are in a bottle from juice bars or in powder form from health stores.
Given all of these benefits, no wonder many have called this a “wonder drink” I may have to try it out for myself. Although, if it tastes anything like wheatgrass, I might have to build up the courage first. Would you ever try this plant-based green drink trend?
